Self Contained Breathing Apparatus SCBA merupakan alat bantu pernafasan. Alat ini digunakan pada saat melakukan pekerjaan seperti penyelamatan pada saat terjadi kebakaran. Juga dapat digunakan pada saat melakukan pekerjaan yang berada dilokasi yang terpapar gas bebahaya. Selain digunakan untuk alat bantu pernafasan ketika penyelamatan kebakaran dan paparan gas berbahaya, SCBA juga dapat digunakan sebagai alat keselamatan kapal atau Marine Safety.
